Otakon Get Together - Time and Place

I'll be there for the 7:30 meetup.

This'll be my first convention. It shouldn't be too hard to find me. I'll be the bewildered little puppy that's staring at everything since I've never been in Baltimore.

I'll be traveling through 4 states to get to the convention and I'm still looking for a place to stay for wednesday night. (I booked my tickets a bit too early.)

I'll probably be wearing a blue inuyasha shirt and denim with yellow & black shoes.

How does the badge pickup thing work? I've payed online back in May already. Do I jsut take my reciet and ID to the line and get my badge?

Badge Pickup: Yep pretty much (except all you should need is your ID). Since you are going to be there Thursday you could get in line for Thursday night pickup. However since Thursday night Reg pickup starts at 5pm, the line will be QUITE long by 7:30pm or so. Plus after 10pm they will not be taking any more people for the night.
Your other option would be to wait till Fridayday morning (which is just as packed). Typically on Friday Reg opens at 9am and the lines do not usually die down till 2-3pm at the earliest.

I'm gonna be somewhere at 7:30 Friday and I want to meetup with some peeps. Any ideas where?

I'll hand out my cell number in private only.

I'll also have this sign wherever I go. Just look up and try to find me.

I'm all for meeting up on Friday, just as long as we make it back by 9 for the main AMV showing. Work is interfering with my ability to arrive on Thursday.

I'll be the one in the Montgomery Biscuits baseball jersey. (Yes, they are a real minor league team - check out the non-anime-related link - http://www.biscuitsbaseball.com)

So any info on where we might be going? I am just going to assume it will be in walking distance downtown. I am fine with anywhere really.

I was actually meaning Thursday night's get together. In which case, the game room will not be open...unless you are refering to a restaurant by that name ^_~

I would like to go to an actual restaurant anyway. I will be driving and will be able to fit 2 more people in my car if we need to leave downtown.

I suppose when one of you Pre-reg people get your Otakon bag of goodies, you can look at the restaurant listing then?

Well, I'll be at the Convention center by 7:30 for sure.. Since I doing panels, I dont get to pick up my badge until Firday Morning so I'll be pretty much free... But if there is to be a meeting, where at the Convention center will be the place to meet?
