) It's less anime than the fact that I'm not doing something productive they protest to. Anime just happens to be a convenient outlet to blame it on.

I feel for you.

Stay cool and just stick with some of the tamer stuff for now. When you are old enough, your parents will eventually trust you to make your own decisions about what to watch.
