I am a couple hours out. So this is my home convention. I am going to love not having to travel 500+ miles to a convention for the first time this year.

I'm totally excited!! We only have 2 more weeks to ACEN!!!! I really want to go see the band The Pillows!!!

I think it'll be weird to see one of you guys and not even know that you're part of the org!...

does it cost anything to get in? we are planning to get up and and go just for the day since i only live about an hour and a half away. i have a ride set up and everything.

FULL (3 days!): $45
Friday only: $25
Saturday only: $25
Sunday only: $20

LOST BADGE FEES:
Sunday: $20
All others: $45

Business Hours (subject to change)
Thursday 5:00pm - 9:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm

ok what exactly is the badge for? when i get there i have to buy the badge to get in then what?

You have to buy a badge to get into the con. You have to have that badge visible so security won't stop you all the time. This badge will let you get into all the events or let you get one ticket to the Pillows concert. I guess it can be used as a safety precaution for staff, guests, and con goers as well just in case something happens or you do something wrong they can identify you.

ok thank you but do i just buy it when i get there? i mean, i dont have to make any reservations do i? me and some friends are just gonna drive out there for the day we're not gonna stay at a hotel or anything.

Just buy it there during one of those times listed. All pre-reservations are done with. You can buy the badges across the street from the hotel. Make sure you tell them that you want a one day badge or something.

Oh let me warn you the line can get really ugly. You might want to get there as early as possible so you won't miss too much.

ok so let me see if i have this right, i go the hotel across the street form the convention center, buy a $25 saturday day pass, then go off to the con and act as if there's no tomorrow
