Does anyone know of any Anime Conventions in England?
Meh.. I always hear about countless anime conventions all over the world(well, America, Canada and Australia) and was wondering if they actually have any in England? If anyone knows of any(preferably in the west midlands/southern area) can they please tell me and give a website to it if possible? Thanks!

There used to be a convention in London called Shinnenkai, but I haven't heard news of it for a few years (then again, I haven't spoken with the people I know who were involved with it for a few years)Frostbite_ wrote:Meh.. one in southampton
i wondered the same thing last year (not helpful i know) but there was a convention in southampton earlier this year (again, not helpful) but hope is not lost, there has to be one like every year or so, and im pretty sure google can tell you all you need to know about when and where the next one is. hopefully its in my town so i dont have to travel there and get my own accommodation (scary coz im too young to drive or anything right now).
but anyway thats what i say. just look on google and you should find out about any future cons, i want to go to one myself, preferably cosplay and amv friendly, (i wanna go in my sasuke cosplay )
ok enough!
hope its helpful

Screw Google, use http://www.anime-cons.com or http://www.afansview.com. I used Google and got links to one site about cons and a bunch of sites about pizza.charlie_k wrote:i wondered the same thing last year (not helpful i know) but there was a convention in southampton earlier this year (again, not helpful) but hope is not lost, there has to be one like every year or so, and im pretty sure google can tell you all you need to know about when and where the next one is. hopefully its in my town so i dont have to travel there and get my own accommodation (scary coz im too young to drive or anything right now).
