Anime Iowa '05

Three weeks until Anime Iowa starts. As usual, I feel like I'm the only one here who's interested in going, but I still intend to have some fun. Big highlight for me is that they're bringing back the game room. I'm sort of looking forward to the AMV contest, but I was unable to finish anything for this years contest, so I'll just be seeing what anyone else is bringing. Thing is, only two or three of the videos I see each year are as good as anything I find here. Anyway, if you actually plan on going, let me know and we can hook up.

You missed a totally great convention, sorry your mom wouldn't let you. The AMV contest was decent, and Greg Ayers was a total punk, and I mean that in a good way. For those of you who didn't go, just because it's a smaller con, you missed out big time.

I have now missed it two years in a row. Mainly because I am flat broke and also have a car that would not make it.

oh well, there is always next year.
