Hey OzzieAlThor79,
Yeah, I was a major part of the judging process. The contest coordinators were the ones who decided who would be in the contest itself. I then helped screen the vids at the con and came up with the winners for each category. The contest coordinator then announced the winners at closing ceremonies.

Cool. You guys made good decisions. I happened to have a video that was in the same category as the Best in Show ("That's America") AND "Guys in dresses are always funny". Both definetly better than my video.
Good to know I had one of the experts judging my stuff.
Do you go to alot of Conventions a year? The AMV sections are always one of the best parts of the weekend for me (besides the whole "being broke 1 day in because I bought so many videos" part).
ALso, do you make many videos? I doubt you would carry your stuff around and show it off (at least too much), I would be interested in seeing what the almighty Phade does though.

Hey OzzieAlThor79,
My general convention-going is limited to how well my contract work is going, proximity to the con, and if the con invites me as a guest. There is a small chance that I might make it to AWA, but there's nothing near a definite plan for that as of now and I could easily end up no going (again).
I really haven't had much time to make AMVs for a long time. When I have some free time, I could either make the site better or make an AMV. I have consistently chosen to work on the site. I figure that would benefit the AMV community more than making an AMV.
I hope this helps. Thanks again and have fun!! ^_^

It was great to see you Phade! Even though I've seen 90% of the videos you showed it was even better on a big projected screen with the volume pumped up! And as far as working on the site or an AMV, I give you permission to work on an AMV. Also check out the picture of you and me in my signature (too bad I wasn't dressed up as Shinji at the time).
Insert clever text/image here.

Thanks for posting those links! I had seen a lot of them before but there were those I hadn't. It made me really happy when you played Violinist of the Diablo cause I don't know to many people who know the AMV or what Hamlin is. It was also fun to watch the various ddr projects while waiting in lines.
