Since we're already pretty off topic: Tom could you please bring my black umbrella (assuming you still have it, please tell me if you don't) to Otakon since I probably won't see you before. I would just IM you and ask you this but you're never on. This also is at least some kind of new post for the Corbo Bash thread.

Ok, so being at Jacon this past weekend, I realized that we can have an addition or two to the party to possibly add to the comfort of guests...

Fans. or boxfans. Whatever. Parties heat up very fucking quick. While at Jacon, Ken was able to keep almost the entire floor full of Jacon AMV people, we won't be able to pull that at a con like Otakon. We can't have everyone pouring out into the hall either. All we'll have are our two rooms, so I thought we'd possibly supply some ventilation.

Any other ideas along this vein?

Totally agreed. It was quite hot and when Akimbo turned on the fan (I think it was him), it was heaven.

-Yes, the underage girls were my fault last year, trying to get some guy in my lil group some action... My bad... but fun ensued anyways.

-Just a general anouncment, I'll be on a diffrent floor of the same hotel, with 2 rooms. I dont know how heavy things will be getting in my room, but i dont see it getting super crowded, so if anyone needs a crash place, so long as we talk and I know you it should be cool.

An update on who else might be coming (and to keep the hype alive!):

Spoke to some of the MTT people...Akimbo looks like he's coming for sure. He's already been looking at flights, i think. Zabet is on the fence, kind of depends on her summer schedule. Grungetta appears to have some sort of conflict with a friend's wedding, still trying to work that out. And Kwasek is a flat-out loser, so he's probably not coming

Wynsong and Jimmyen (a bunch of you met him at JACON) are considering driving down and staying with me.

And last but not least, Heather/Anifirebird, whom some of you also met at JACON.

Small chance of the Duke crew coming up this time...Dave will be in Japan, and I believe Charlene will have just gotten back a few days prior. I think Charlene generally organizes the trips, so no Charlene, no Duke group.

Oh, and Kusoyaro might be showing his face there as well, that lout.
