I'm too much of a socialite, so small cons are the bestests!!! Big Cons are too busy and suck hard...booooo!!! :P

Yes, but a large cons, things are more spaced so you can sit farther away from the unwashed otaku fanboy.

And small cons don't seem to mind if you haul the the magical tasty beverages around with you on the con floor so long as you keep it discreetly in a magical plastic cup... :P

I had two bottles of Goose Island Honker's Ale while I was riding herd at Hell. No one seemed to mind a bit...perhaps it was because I wasn't making a scene of it.

And yah, as long as you're not being overt about it, "magical beverages" in cups shouldn't be a problem with smaller cons. I didn't bother with the hotel lobby bar nor "The Club".

If I was gonna drink at Ohayocon, it'd either be on my own goodies in the cooler or with friends at Fado.

I'll have more thoughts on the con itself when I get a chance to collect them in a meaningful manner. I do want to touch on the room layout and AMV contest when I get there.

Or the shameless cosplayer? Now THAT is scary. Ohayocon has lots of crossdressers. I think it says something about Ohio. All these rednecks are repressing their feminine side till it erupts in a frightning display involving sailor scouts.

I'd rather see a disjointed rant...but to each their own... :P

There are levels of "jointless ranting". I'd much prefer a beer-induced jointless rant than a work-interrupted one.

Unfortunately, I cannot drink at work so you'll have to make do with a dinner break slightly rushed one.

Hmm, so they didn't give out Best of Show, Fan Fav, or Best Tech videos? Go fig, I guess everyone does it a little differently. Bit of a shame only one winner came out of each genre, but as usual those in attendence are the true winners.
