This is the attitude I'm talking about. You want to get drunk with people like this? They'll get you smashed and steal your wallet. Granted I tend to get drunk with most anybody, Will included, but I'm poor so its doesn't matter. Hey, if you come to my room I'll hook you up with all the booze you want. Just bring a fat load of small unmarked bills and at least one major credit card.

Technically speaking, you'd be getting drunk FROM people like this, fucko. I tend the bar, which is a fair sight easier to do if you refrain from getting the blind-blottos yourself, as James so heroically proved last year. One of the principles behind good bartending is enabling people to get drunk, and NOT bat-shit crazy. If you pass out at Corbo Bash the worst thiing that'll happen to you is compromising photos, which would be taken liberally if you were awake anyway.

One of the numerous reasons the Bash is so keen is because everyone knows each other in some way, which, among many other benefits, means no one has to worry about someone freaking out and causing property damage and personal harm.

Not that I don't love enforcing exclusionism for its own merits, but this isn't my party. Which is probably why it's so much fun.

meh, that's not really true at all. It's pretty much if your a friend of a friend of a friend etc. you're in. The reason why the party has gotten so out of control the past few years is that everyone is bringing friends with them, and then those guys are bringing friends and so on, making the group that much bigger. The first party a few years ago, I wasn't at, but I'm assuming it was under 20 folks. Last year it was what? Over 70?

It's not nearly as exclusive as you think, and I really don't know where you're coming from with this money stuff. Everyone brings a bottle or 2, and you can have whatever, and however much that you want. No one has ever been charged for a drink. I think the only time money has ever been collected was for that gamecube raffle 2 years ago, and all of the cash was given to Patrick for his new AMV server.
