The bar-stock list is good. I have minor things to add for more specialty drinks.
Amaretto. (Probably equal in size to the SoCo is best)
Cherry Brandy and/or Grenadine (doesn't have to be much of either or, but they're necessary for floating)
Maybe Bailey's? (It's good for shooting if nothing else, although I rarely drink it myself)
And I'd suggest maybe at least another gallon of milk. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm a big fan of the white russians and toasted almonds. I remember those went over pretty well last year.
I know we thought "maybe only ONE thing of milk will be enough" for both AWA and Jacon, and then promptly ran out with less than half of this party's attendance. (Of course, at those parties most people just asked me to mix them "something good", and since I've got a recipe book of what's good in my head I'd just give them some of what I was drinking and ask if they wanted one. That doesn't tend to happen at Corbo Bash.)
Also: I can probably pick up whatever's left over on the list at the duty-free or else at some point while we're down there.

Excellent suggestions J. I'll toss them on the list when I update it next. We already have someone bringing the SoCo, but what size would you suggest for the amaretto? .75 sounds like enough to me, but I'm not a huge fan of it, so perhaps I'm biased. We'll probably be picking up the milk there, so we'll be sure to pick up 2 gals instead of one. The place will more than likely have a frig, if not we can always resort to the tub as per usual.

Also of note: Unless you're getting Sweet and Sour, Tom Collins mix is the same as Whiskey Sour mix is the same as Margarita mix is the same as anything which substitutes for bar lime.
If anyone can actually get their hands on some wholesale Bar Lime powder, that'd be fucking super-duper. I hate being gouged for the the stuff they sell at the liquor stores, but it's the only way I know to find it commercially. And without it you can't make many a tasty beverage.
Also Also: 750 mL is probably enough Amaretto. Like I said, probably equal to the SoCo is best, unless someone is like my aunt and wants to drink a copious amount of SoCo and 7up. They tend to go in pairs.

How are we doing with music this year? You need stuff to add to ye olde ipod, or are you all set up?StealthVisions wrote:Update:

Glad to see this thread back on topic.
anyway. I really wish I could go to Corbo Bash this year, but I wont be able to attend Otakon. I am getting back from Germany the week before the convention, which leaves me no time to save up money for air fare, etc.
Oh well, Sorry for the all the trouble my previous posts seemed to have caused. I hope to get to meet you guys either at AWA this year or at Otakon next year

Update on my end: With some effort (and expendature), I got my hands on some wholesale professional Bar Lime mix, so no one needs to worry about picking up any Tom Collins/Whiskey sour mix or anything. These things come in packs of 4L worth of powder. We'll just need a container on hand to mix them in.
This means I'm ex as far as bringing liquor is concerned, though. Wasn't planning to blow my whole budget on strictly mix (well, I got some new spouts, too), but you can't get the stuff in stores and it's a main ingredient in about 80% of mixed drinks.
