Who's going to AnimeUSA?

I preregged hoping to save money, but now it sounds like not many people/friends are going. MCAS is apparently debating between AnimeUSA and AnimeNext. Gigundous is abondoning us so it's kind of up to my house to decide where we go. Sooo....who's going (to either con)? And, yeah, I'm kind of looking for people I know to respond to this.

What's/where's AnimeNext? I'd be more likely to go to AnimeUSA though since it's like 3-5 minutes from work.

I think AnimeNEXT is actually in Rye, which is in Eastern NY.

I'd like to go to AUSA, but unfortunately I think my funds to go to conventions that require me to stay in a hotel will be more than tapped out by then.

Well I'm going, Vic is going, Tim I believe might come.. depends if Hsien goes.. um Omar will be there..

If we're frightenly lucky "crazy bald guy" will be there as well. Nate might come, depends on this money situation (from what I understand).

Hsien, you know you'll have staff crash space if you come. Plus, I assume you'll have the same responsibilities as last year. Same with AMV King.. =)

I think you should all come anyways! I bet all of you missed my J-Music Video showing.. you have to come just because of that! hehe =)

The amazing thing is.. Can we get jason to come to AnimeUSA?

Well I've already gotten plane tickets and whatnot for AWA, so I'm going to be there. Not 100% sure that I won't burst out into flames if I goto more than 1 con a year.

I might show up at AnimeUSA, since it's only like an hour drive away from me. We shall see.

Wow AnimeUSA sounds fun. I've heard stories about the crazy bald guy (nice icon btw) and all the good times that were had.

Tim is going? That damn Canadian going to all those East Coast cons and not going to ACen (which is at the same time as his home con AnimeNorth :whistles:).

Wish I lived around there...oh well.

I feel sorry for your roommates at AWA...

You should be okay, though. I went to eight cons last year and only suffered from the occasional hot flash. 8)
