AWA VAT room Thursday evening?

I have heard a few people mention that the VAT room will be lightly 'populated' Thursday night... is it actually going to be open for anyone or do I need to join the Safeway Club Card Cult? ;)

(After I register Thursday night of course!) 8)

At the moment, it's looking like VAT thursday night will be solid requests/Expo overflow.
