Anime Detour 2005 this Weekend!

Post by NeoQuixotic » Tue Mar 08, 2005 9:42 pm

The anime convention know as Anime Detour, is happening this weekend March 11-13, Friday to Sunday in Bloomington, Minnesota. If you pre-registered remember to go! If you didn't register you can do so at the door. I just thought I should give a reminder in the forum and not necropost a previous thread. And no, I'm not going this year, since the amv I was working on got lost in a HD crash and I'm money stricken right now >.<! Hope the rest of y'all have a good time.

Well I've been reconsidering to maybe do a last minute choice to attend Saturday and Sunday, but it would be nice to know if any a-m-v.org members are going. I only know that oldwrench is going. I suppose Friday's activities are going on right now so it might be too late for me to ask whos going huh?

I know mine! :P

A good bit of them showed by Phade are the ones that won the best vids for their respective categories.

Video of the year, Comedy video of the year, Trailer of the year and "The Naurtix" are all on the this years 2005 winners page

There was also:

That's America. That won best in show.

A guy in a dress is always funny. Best Comedy.

Not sure of all the rest. I was bored with the action and drama ones personally. Doesn't make them bad... just not something I enjoyed. :)

Does anyone know what the winners in the other catagories were? I had to leave early and they don't post them on their site.
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

Come and join us on the tiny but fun forum at http://www.allanime.org

I was there as well, it was funny how Greg reacted to anything releated to any of the character's he portrayed.
