Ani Magic thoughts.

Post by Castor Troy » Mon Oct 07, 2002 9:47 am

Just got back from Ani magic....

It was a very very very small con that took place in only one small hotel and a small convention center. Like Anneke said, everything and anything related to amvs was cancelled. Revell Walker, head of the con, had this really big friendly look on his face (He seemed more like a reverend or a priest).

The dealers room was very small but I got a few good things. The voice actor panels were awesome. The con was pretty boring during the day but it got alot better at night. The masquerade was funny as hell and I had an absolute blast in the gaming room (played 8 player halo for 2 hours).

Basically, the con wasn't as bad as I thought. With a con that small, there were no lines for anything which made it easy to attend all the panels and masquerade. At the closing ceremonies, Revell said that they raked in enough money for Ani magic 2003 and 2004....

Would I go back next year?

Probably for the panels and gaming room.
