Kawaii-Kon Hawaii own anime conventions and Conference !!

Aloha everyone

,
My name is Hawaiian_Gurl i am form hawaii, we just had our first anime convention here in hawaii on the island of Oahu , It happen Apirl 22-24 and i must say as a fomer volunteer staffer of Kawaii-Kon *cute * for a first time we did pretty good we had about 2, 000 for our first year u may think thats really small come on it was our first year and i must say it was awsome

.
Me and the other staff, dirctors etc .... we didnt expect to have that many people for first year in hawaii . We all thought we going to have 500 people attending to the conventions. We are now planning for next year and hopfully we have a bigger crowd .

Damn, and I used to live in Honolulu. Would have been cool to check out my old haunts again. Someday maybe.

sorry to hear that !! next year con will be my second so far theres no update , we are trying to get some things orgainzed right now we are working on the volunteer , and hopefully we at least have 40+ people because last year we only had 28 helping out . But we mange and i must say it was hell of fun

So does anyone form the mainland , Japan or the UK knows any vendor that want to come to hawaii please inform me either e-mailing or PM me some of your vendor suggestion then i can informe your suggestinon to my boss . Oh yeah if you have any question about kawaii-kon i try my best too answer them

I was slated to go... when the Navy said "No, we're sending you on a two day aviation physical at Naval Hospital Corpus Christi."

I replied, "Oh fuck." I did not go to Hawaii.
