why do you goto cons?

I go mostly to see people, I don't normally get to see livingin RI and
only seem to goto events that have strong intrest to me. Some people
go for the events "we will go in teams of one and assualt the con"..
Anyway I still like events but I tend to-go for the people. What's other
peoples con motivations?

I go for the fun of it. Not knowing 100% what to expect. Seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Pus it doesnt hurt to cosplay and have an excuse to look like a dork.

Use to be to hang out, meet people, and do stuff.
Now it's to do that PLUS run contests, obsess over AMV's and make the world a better place for all editors everywhere!
