Is this good enough for AWA-11?
I bought a ticket for some reason for the formal ball (even though I'm going single). I was wondering if this attire is appropriate for the ball.

there is a black tie under that jacket...
I was told it was formal suite and tie, but not sure on exacts. Also is the ball worth going to single? The last one I went too (formal dance) I already had girl with me.
Ne input would be great...
btw im 22 if any ladies are interested in meeting up for the dance.. Yes, I can tango.

Think about where this is being held: an anime convention. I don't think the rules are gonna say a black and white prom-style tuxedo or something. Personally, you probably far exceed their expectations. And nice pimpage...nice lookin, well dressed, can dance...single...dude, I think you're gonna have trouble gettin the girls off of you.
You gotta consider your competition, also...a whole bunch of pimply-faced, stuck-up nerds who would rather simulate dancing with a girl on their computer than to dance with one in real life.

Actually, had you read the website at least once you'd know that the ball does require dress attire.Lone Wolf wrote:I don't think the rules are gonna say a black and white prom-style tuxedo or something.
"The Time Traveler’s Ball is a black tie invited event. Men must be attired in a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie."

According to the boards and the site it is a ball first and an anime convention second in relation to this event. There have been a LOT of miscomprehensions regarding this and they said they have had to turn people away for not being dressed appropriatly. Like I said, I'd suggest e-mailing the coordinator of the event first.Lone Wolf wrote:Think about where this is being held: an anime convention. I definitely agree he should mail to confirm although I'm pretty sure that falls under the "dressed appropriately" category. I actually read through that section because I had a double take on it. I think it's an interesting after hours event. I don't know of any other Con that has ever offered something like this. I'm curious to see how many people will actually attend. The Wired Knight wrote:
