This convention is in it's first year. It's taking place where part of Anime North 2005 took place this past Spring, I believe. I was wondering if anyone knew anykind of information on it, on a personal basis. They've been advertising themselves at several anime events, so I have to admit that I was getting a bit curious.

Thanks. I should have mentionned that I've already browsed the official site. I was more wondering if anyone knew anything about it on a personal basis. It's run from some of the guys from Anime North, and since I've seen the guy promoting it, I wanted to know if anyone had talked to him and perhaps heard anything interesting.

OK, Con No Baka is this Friday. Unless I come down with a severe illness, it is virtually guaranteed that I will attend.

Who else is gonna be there?

I'll be there. So will dschlag007 aka Iceman_F1 (he's driving :P)
Any word on whether or not there will be an AMV creator after-party like at AN? Someone mentioned it before, I remember.

Indeed I will be there. I will be one of the 2 (maybe 3) people running the 2 AMV Panels as well as doing a fansubbing panel. Hopefully they will go ok and I don't offend anyone =P

Hope to see other creators there ^_^

Awwww...

That's too bad. It would have been fantastic were you able to attend.

To clarify, I'm only going to be there on Friday and not the rest of the con.
I've no AMVs in the contest, BTW, because I didn't enter it.
