Well. Yeah.
Um.
Basically, as per every other year, we'll be eating at Carrabba's. It's a little walk across the bridge of death(that got a fence, so now it's just the bridge of doom) and it serves italian food.
I'm in Florida now, But I will be at AWA by Thursday(september 21), plans permitting.
I Cannot walk anyone to the dinner, however, because I don't know where Carrabba's is. Again. So if somebody can volunteer like they did last year, that'd be great.
Uh... This is kind of in a hurry, so as per tradition, you're allowed yourself and one non-AMVer friend/guest if you need it. But try not to bring any non-AMV people. I may bring my boyfriend if he can make it. But that's just me.
So anyway, state if you're in or not, and if you're bringing a guest. This way I can see how many people will be coming, and can make a reservation.
Additionally, if anyone can expound on this topic(like menus and location and such) please do, because my life is pretty hectic right now. I just want ot make sure we don't miss out on this wonderful tradition that is usually my highlight of going to AWA!

Added 9/14/06 - Meet at the ice sculpture inside the Rennassiance Waverly Hotel at 8pm EST. We will be leaving to walk to Carabba's at 8:30pm EST. If you're late you have to walk alone. Added 8/24/06 - Pilk says: People we will need to leave no later than 8:45 from the hotel. There is a new bridge which requires us to cross the road at Cumberland Pkwy. But trust me this is a much safer route. Meet at the hotel ice scuplture, behind the lobby elevators no later than 8:30.
Added 8/01/06 - I kind of forgot to mention it, but we will be meeting at 8pm in the Rennaisance(sp) Waverly Hotel. Below the stairs, next to the big ice sculpture(which is behind the elevator tunnel thing). This will give us all a chance to group together, before we leave at roughly 8:50pm to go to Carrabba's. While you wait, you can meet other editors before the dinner, as well as go upstairs and get your con badge, which is usually open by this time (If it's not somebody let me know, please.)
So sometimes there's a split meeting of AMVers who are waiting in line getting their badges, as well as those downstairs. In 2001 I actually met ErMaC waiting in line for my badge, and then he mysteriously disappeared for the rest of the con. >_>
