Like last year, the con is held on the last weekend in February (Feb 27 - Mar 1 2009) in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Union building (we have pretty much this entire building booked for the weekend)
Guests so far are Yamila Abraham of Yaoi Press, Wendy Powel (Envy in FMA, The Fever Demon in Shin Chan, etc...) and Todd Haberkorn (Hikaru in Ouran High School Host Club, Watanuki in xxxHolic, etc...)
The AMV Contest is coming back (as soon as I get the rules back up and change the submission form) as are the Cosplay Contest, Character Auction and Dance, and Video Game Room. The Vendors room and Artist's alleys will also be there (there have been talks of a silent art auction as well.)
We're working on getting as many martial arts clubs as we can to give demonstrations throughout the weekend as well. The Kung-Fu Club is returning, so if you come you might be able to [truthfully] say that you know kung-fu by the end of the weekend.
Pre-reg is available until January 17, and is $25 for Non-UWM students (click here to go to the pre-reg page)

I went to last year's Anime Milwaukee and it was so much fun!! I can't wait until this year's I might cosplay and make an AMV for it!!

If the other staff members get their way I'll be wearing cat ears with bells >_>
(last year I went to eat after setting up my laptop for someone's panel, but none of the other staff knew where I was, and when things started to go wrong they couldn't find me. Their conclusion: I had been killed by a ninja...so now they want to put a leash on me like some sort of dog so that I don't run off again)
