Sony Vegas 7.0 problem

Every time I split a vid or audio at some point, my editing tool wont go on the split area. Its very hard to explain, but every time, I want to place my editing tool on the split area it refuses to go. Also my vid refuses to be cut at that point or reduced to that split point. Its that way with any splits Ive done. My Vegas is acting weird

I'm not sure if I fully understand, but you can't cut a single frame (it sounds like you want your cut to be 100% precise).

I believe this is what your explaining, correct?

• Cursor @ frame 100
• Cursor -> frame 101 with right arrow key
• "s" button, splits clip.
• Your cursor is forced right(?)
• You try to go back to frame 101, but it takes you all the way back to 100. 101 seems to be unselectable

If it is, I have no idea as my vegas doesnt act this way reinstall / update.
