Meh, tip of the ice burg. There're thousands more that I don't know, and this list is mostly off the top of my head.

Blind Guardian-meh ok but toooo fast for me
Pain of Salvation-same as BG
Ayreon-same as BG
Amon Amarth-WHOA they come on to strong and scare me just like Mudvayne DAMN you actually listen to this stuff? I would hate to know what's in your head xD
Orphaned Land- once again YOU LISTEN TO THIS?
Opeth- Progressive death metal is a BIG nono for me x-[
Dark Tranquility- This band discuses me... i don't even want to listen to the rest of the bands =/

Haha. Mudvayne scares you? Mudvayne is a bunch of talentless hacks, far as I'm concerned.

You watch Naruto and are a DBZ fan, therefore, your tastes are about as unsophisticated as a monkey given near fatal amounts of crack and alcohol. Yay for the Flame Form, by the way.

You didn't specify a particular genre of music, either. Is your brain just so slow that everything else has to match it's pace before you can enjoy it?

And don't cry to me about how everything I listen to is too "hardcore" (I personally hate that word in any of its uses, but it works here), because I like a variety of styles of music, which is part of why I love metal so much. Anything I could ever want, I can find in metal. It's the only genre with anything remotely exciting left to it.

So.. you wanted bands that sing in english who are not from native english speaking countries on a board who's primary posters who listen to bands who are not from the US play metal, get an answer to your question, which did no specify that you do not LIKE metal, and then you proceed to INSULT the person who was gracious enough to answer you god damned inane question that serves no purpose or goal, not to mention refrains from stating any stipulation on what your ACTUALLY looking for?

What the FUCK. Grow up.

I like DBZ, Naruto, and Metal, therefore, following your logic, Metal is about as unsophisticated as a monkey given near fatal amounts of crack and alcohol. Good Job.

I second the yay for the flame form.

On a corolary, I too like DBZ, Naruto and Metal, but I agree that the first two aren't sofisticated at all. BBQ isn't fancy and I still eat it.

yay for the flame form x3

and

L'Arc~en~Ciel, Hirano Aya, Asian Kung-fu Generation, Yoriko, FLOW, Maaya Sakamoto, Kids Alive, Dir en Grey, Saeko Chiba and probably every other Japanese pop group/singer that has ever recorded an anime OP/ED with the exception of Ayumi Hamasaki and Kotoko will have at least one song in English. You could also try the bands that make the soundtracks for Pump It Up! dance machines, like BanYa and Yahpp.

Also,

If you're asking for "foreign" bands (what you really meant are bands from non-English speaking countries) that sing in English, expect 89% of the answers to be Metal bands. It's just like how all opera before Wagner was either in French or Italian.

Finally,

you are a grade-A loser and if Otohiko hadn't used the flame form already, I would. Rejoice in that last sentence, because that is the only time anyone will ever call you a grade-A in anything.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

WoW, here I was about to PM some links as in 6 CD's of nothing but Swedish melodic death metal... then again I can see there is no point. Anything Eurobeat or that shit jrock/jpop then again just use linkin park and slit your wrists over it.. do us all a favor

In all fairness, someone who's got a Dragonforce banner in his Sig should PROBABLY refrain from making linkin park-esque remarks.

Well that depends on definition of 'Foreign' :P She's still from a country where English is an official language.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
