Double footage

I read the vegas tutorial that was stickied and it tought me how to do double footage. Now here's my question.... How do I make one screen of the footage move from top to bottom or vice versa over the other screen of footage?

I'm trying to creat a moving (or "floating") picture in picture effect.

I know double footage is the key, I just don't know how to make it move.

that depends really on how fancy you are wanting to go...

to make it you gotta use keyframes:

change the position of the pan in the smaller timeline in the pan/crop window
