YES! We did, in fact, receive a few more comedy entries. An extra thanks to all those that took me up on my extension.
Our total count is 24 videos. Really not bad for a first time convention, IMO. The judges will be narrowing down the drama/sentimental and the action/horror fields into 5 finalists, but all the other categories entered will have their videos shown, as there are 5 or less vids in all the other categories, and they all met the contest rules. I'll post a full finalist list in the next couple of weeks after my judges have a chance to look at the entries.
Again, a huge thank you on behalf of myself and the Otaku Omaha Staff to everyone who participated this year! The entries we've received are nothing short of amazing...it's going to be a great contest!
