Searching for a video (and recommendations?)

I'm looking for a Fushigi Yuugi video that was done a few years back, drama/serious that featured the 'bad guys' as if they were the protaganists. Sorry I can't be more specific than that, though it was very very well done.


Second:

I'm also searching for any similar AMVs to show at an panel as examples of work that has changed the original intent of the anime while keeping it recognizable. So anything that turns the 'bad guys' into the 'good guys', or turns a well known comedy into a horror, would be much appreciated.

Oh, right, I forgot about the second half of the post. I saw this at Acen and it seems like it'd fit your request pretty well. There are probably others I could name that you could use, but I can't recall what they are currently.

I always found this one to be a rather unusual take on Puni Puni Poemy. Plays around with the mood a lot more than the story but still might be what you're looking for.



Almost any comedy that uses Hellsing, Berserk, or other dark animes like that would probably fit as well. Most trailers would probably fit as well.

I sorta did that with my zetsumo video, (unless you believe sasuke to be evil to begin with ;p) and it being Naruto will probably go over well with a crowd I suppose...

Of course theres also Whisper of the beast, but who hasn't already seen that one ;p

Reflections (VCA winner) is a good example of twisting shows to tell something completely different from the orginal animes, but that may not be what your looking for if I understand your request correctly...
