Wasn't too long ago that I was asking the same question on this forum. There's one in Endicott, NY...
I buy my anime almost exclusively from RightStuf (one 'F' at the end there) and Amazon. Do not (for the love of God) buy from eBay or the Amazon MarketPlace sellers unless you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that they're legitimate.

Sorry for the double post, but I just remembered something:
When I first went to RightStuf I was severely disappointed by their prices. I didn't realize that they have sales every week for different items. Read through the Heads Up forum for some excellent examples.
My suggestion: make a list of all the anime you want. Then check the sales at RightStuf every week and slowly check the items off it. If your list is short, don't be afraid to post the anime that you like here - I'm sure we can fill you in on what you are lacking.

That applies mainly to box sets. I think it's safe to buy DVD volumes at E-Bay and the Amazon MP. I've bought three DVDs that way.DocturKnowles wrote:Wasn't too long ago that I was asking the same question on this forum. There's one in Endicott, NY...

That's not so reliable either anymore on Amazon if any of you have been following the recent ANN article regarding Amazon's "Official" box set of the sailor stars.Kumatora wrote:That applies mainly to box sets. I've seen that before as well but I thought I saw "unofficial" on it. Anyway, has anyone noticed that bootlegs of DVD volumes don't seem to exist as much as box sets for obvious reasons. The Wired Knight wrote:That's not so reliable either anymore on Amazon if any of you have been following the recent ANN article regarding Amazon's "Official" box set of the sailor stars.Kumatora wrote:That applies mainly to box sets.
