AMV Questions

Post by ssj4gokudb » Sun May 20, 2007 6:21 pm

Hi, Ive done a few amvs but now im really wanting to get into them deeper. First i want to find a good simple program that i can get to burn a dvd off onto my computer so i can move whole episodes and such to my computer without having to DL them. Secondly I was curious on what programs everyone uses to make theres. Right now im using Windows Movie Maker and would like to find something a little more advanced to use. Please can someone help me out. You can also contact me at ssj4gokudb@yahoo.com and if you want to see some of my videos go to youtube.com and look up ssj4gokudb im also known as the Dragon.

yep, that about covers it

as for programs, vegas and adobe primiere are the ones i am most familiar with and they are both quite good. another useful program is adobe after effects which i have wanted to get my hands on for a long time as it can do some awsome things. but it's more of a secondary program which is used to enhance an amv rather than make one from scratch.

however, all of the above costs quite a lot of money. windows movie maker alone is pretty primative in its features but it will do for very basic amvs. however, there are mods that you can get to give it additional features, just ask in the wmm forum for some advice on how to get them
