I'd be interested in trying this out. But I can't start my video till next week, and I only have two videos up on the org so far... both of wich I'm well aware I messed up the aspect ratio on... I'm still learning so with you being selective I guess I'd be out, but why don't you let me try and make the beta video and then you can decide if you like it or not.

Original Song: One Tin Soldier
By: Original Caste
Cover song to be used: One Tin Soldier
By: Me first and the Gimme Gimmes
Anime Used: Super Dimension Fortress Macross/ Possibly additional footage from Super Dimension Fortress Macross Do You Remember Love?
The song also has an even running time of exactly 2 minutes so with some space to fade out and in from the previous track that'll be just a bit over your time limit.

Hmmmmm
I'll give this a shot Sunday afternoon. If anything looks promising, I'll PM you.NerdStrudel wrote:But I do need more people.
UPDATE: A perusal through my music collection reveals that I have only ONE song that counts as a cover, and it's neither a particularly *good* song (to me) nor a particularly *exciting* cover:
'Over, Under, Sideways, Down.' Might have some fun moving character images around, up, down, etc, but it doesn't strike me as FUN or FUNNY.
FWIW, the original was done by The Yardbirds in 1963. My older sisters and younger uncles thought that was all TEH_Great_Stuff in the day, but, mmmehhhh...
Cover was done by 'Boiled in Lead' in 1991, and their rendition is, well, "there are better songs on their CD...."
Oh, well. Back to my other projects...

This is fine. Send me a beta when you get it in a PM using Sendspace. The song is fine, and good to see somebody using some gimme gimme stuff. Especially good since I'm pretty sure that song isn't from "Johnny's barmitzvah" in which they play live at a barmitzvah and timing for songs is off and not to great. but anyway, Yah we'll see. Oh yah, and the time is fine, it's not to much over and i'll allow it.Topstar_Productions wrote:I'd be interested in trying this out. P.S. Geirr, if there is a cover song you have in mind, PM me with it and I could get it for yah in .wav format so you'd be able to use it and stuff.
