xena
But it is not in the dictionary.

and therefore against the rules.

We are actually still on "X"

as Xena is not a word.

Actually Wait, Let's let Oto handle this one, as he is the linguist.

Are proper names "words"?

that's what i was going by, but I am now really curious ... what are the properties that make something a word or not a word.

Well I have now come to the conclusion that yes Propernames can be classified as words, however this rule says that it must cary meaning.

Proper names have caused many problems for the philosophy of language, but as John Stewart Mill has said ""A proper name [is] a word that answers the purpose of showing what thing it is that we are talking about but not of telling anything about it".

therefore I contend that although "Xena" is a word, it does not carry any meaning, nor is it in the dictionary, and thus Shall not be accepted as an official entry to this game. for it is against the rules.

We are still looking for a four letter word that begins with "X"
