Hey basically been looking at after effectss CS3 on amazon because I'm thinking of getting it but it doesn't say the computer spec requirement any where, any one know the needed spec of the top of there heads?

Also this is a bit of a stupider question but its worth me asking, I'm thinking of getting a mac in the future and was wondering if I I could run my current After Effects version on it, like is there a patch, AND YES I am aware there are two seperate versions for mac and windows available so just a shot in the dark with this one.

if you dual-booted xp (maybe vista?) on the mac you should be able to use AE (if you only have the pc version). I think you have to have the macs with the intel chip in it, but I'm not so sure about that one.
as far as I know there isn't a "patch" to let you use one version on the other system
