Adobe Premiere Pro 2 audio problem

AFAIK BeSweet doesn't run on 64-bit OSes and there isn't a run-around.

then again, I don't know much.

Hi, me again, ive converted file into a WAV and im having the same problem, everything else plays it fine except Premiere.

I dont think it's muted because i cant remember muting it in the first place and i cant really remember how to mute/un-mute it :S

It's a little tiny speaker icon in the info header part of the track on the timeline.

Other than that...I've never had a problem like this. Can you create a new project and load the .wav file into it and have it play? How about any other .wav files? If you can't play any sounds in Premiere, it might be some sort of glitch with Premiere talking to your soundcard or onboard sound system's drivers.

Tried a different project with a different Wav file, its not muted and still nothing, it may be that i have a new sound card i install since last time, would i have to change an option under Première to tell it which output to go through? i know u have to do that with some.

The strange thing is that Premiere worked absolutely fine for about two weeks or something, and then the audio stopped working... I still can't see why... >__< Though, I read at some page that it might have something to do with the soundcard... But I don't know what to do about it in that case...

You can try updating the soundcard driver, or if you did so recently, rolling it back to the previous driver.

Ive only ever used 1 set of drivers for my current sound card, before that, i used my on board one. The set of drivers ive got are the newest ones aswell.

If you go in one of the Preferences submenus, you can direct Premiere to use a specific audio output. Check if the right one's selected.
