VirtualDubMod question about frames
So anyway, I know that with VirtualDubMod you can copy the different frames in it and save, and then be able to eg take an entire clip and fix things up in photoshop by adding something or another onto the individual frames.
My question is;
how can you put the altered frames back? (if even possible...)
I've tried reading the techincal guide, but it doesn't really make me any wiser on this subject. So please, stupify the answer for me ^^;
(Not sure where this thread is supposed to go, but ah well... Please move if this is the uncorrect place.)

I don't really understand what you want to say with this, but the usual way would be:Dark Confusion wrote:So anyway, I know that with VirtualDubMod you can copy the different frames in it and save,
1. Save the clip in VDM as image sequence.
2. Make your changes in Photoshop.
3. Either open the image sequence in VDM and save it as .avi or load the image sequence directly into your editing program.

VDubMod will autoload image sequences as long as they
A) have the same name suffix (like 'seq')
B) are sequentially numbered in the proper order ('seq1.bmp', 'seq2.bmp', 'seq3.bmp' and so on)
The only thing to remember is that all the images have to be the same dimensions (and obviously, the same format - it won't join .bmp to .jpg/.png/.tga or vice-versa, whether they have the right names or not).
You probably won't be able to append a sequence into the beginning/middle/end of a video stream (although I haven't tried that, so take that with a grain of salt), but it will allow you to save the video as an AVI and do whatever you want with that.

Well, those two are okay, I think. Its the same source so it shouldnt be any problems on that front (so far ^^)Qyot27 wrote:VDubMod will autoload image sequences as long as they

But now there is another problem (annoying, I know )
When I load the image sequence from VDM, it sort of crops off a rather big part down below (well I find it big Not THAT big though) in comparison to what I watch when I view the ep itself. I have tried to make it bigger, but that doesn't seem to help. The cropped off part wont show itself.
How do I get the entire image instead of a cropped one? (and no, I have not used any cropping in the script... :/ Only thing beside DirectShowSource is ConvertToYV12()
Anyone who has an idea why this is?
I hope I made any sense...
