so i can't say much for the originality of the idea.

It reminded me more of this Lain video. It's warped, tongue-in-cheek, and delivered with an almost perfectly straight face.

Thanks! The last-part was actually my least favorite part (in the AMV and to do) - It's wasn't that hard (Photoshop to create the outlines, Premiere Pro to put the stuff in together with some resizing and garbage mattes), but still, I was busy whole morning creating that part (about 5 hours) and still don't like the result. Some of the frames are still a bit jerky and in the end, having about 10 AVS-videos on screen at the same time created a very jerky preview and export wouldn't go properly without putting the Memorymax back to 16MB (so if your Premiere is crashing then do that!).

Seems a lotta people missed the point of that thread, cuz I was talking about a small sect of experimental videos, and even then, I never said I didn't like them... I just didn't get their appeal as AMVs.

Yeah, too bad the thread is closed (didn't have much time back then), because I still didn't get your point of the thread (so many things were covered there!) and would still like to discuss some further...

Some of my friends thought it was Japanese too, but the funny thing was, they only realized it was sung in English when the karaoke-part came up! But seriously, there's more than cheesy J-Pop and Eurobeat coming from Japan - the thing is that you don't really hear that much (like every other good music from any country actually).

the exciting chases and motorcycle parts made me wet my pants , nice way to make someone learn what to do in AMVs, my sis now knows what I have to take in mind when I make mines (she thinks that this is an easy hobbie )

Synching is the easest thing when editing an AMV, because everybody can time scenes on the music given enough time. It's the rest that is hard to do (story telling/built-up/scene selection/flow/etc.).

I was given a sneak peak by Douggie some time ago. I thought the humour was very subversive, images that completely warped the meaning of the text giving it the charm of intelligent comedy. But aside from the bullshit, good stuff!

Thanks for watching! Yeah, that video was actually my main inspiration (it's written in the link on my AMV-page, but still haven't really finished that). It's one of the 3 videos that REALLY made me laugh. My vid was actually without the comments for the first part, but when I started thinking about what comedy vids I liked I thought I could also make text-boxes to make the scenes funnier by putting semi-serious comments about techniques.

That's my whole bunch of replies, if I missed a reply, sorry! But still thanks for watching (also people who didn't leave a comment)!
