- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

That's what we were aiming for. True thing that remark about Vash being rather recognizable, but then the earlier vault suit scene would have been a real head scratcher for us.Otohiko wrote:Eerie and very cool as far as athmosphere.
Is that a first? Probably not.Minion wrote:couldn't spot anything to nit pick on.

Umm... the more the merrier? Two heads are better than one? Twice the editors, half the effort? Something like that.Autraya wrote:I don't understand why this needed 2 ppl? I mean honnestly, it's stills + titles + fades + 3-ish effects
Glad you liked it.Kristyrat wrote:Very cool, I enjoyed it thoroughly, definately a keeper.
Thanks for all the replies. There's been some talk outside these forums, about how this video should have had a continuation in one form or another. Ideally perhaps a fast paced apocalyptic music video to pick off at the end, but the main problem with that is neither of us know any anime series that would fit the concept and be Falloutish. We will probably do something similiar with Fallout 3, if it ever does get released and it has something editable. That's still a long way ahead, though.

Except when transferring those lagariths over flaky network, now that was fun. ;)Esrhan wrote:Twice the editors, half the effort? Something like that.:P

War is good for:Janzki wrote:War... what is it good for? AMVs at least.
AMVs
Getting rid of excess population and reducing the over-population of the earth.
Movies like Saving Private Ryan, Schindlers List, Dr Strangelove, or Rambo.
Selling weapons.
Every rapist and killer on the battlefield is one less rapist/killer in the US.
Starting Mel 'Mad Max' Gibson's career.
The History Channel.
Provides some geeks a hobby of 'memorize the outline of that big boat'.
Selling Newspapers.
And, last but not least, it provides a good laugh every now and then.

I liked it, but those damn credits were really, REALLY distracting. I realize that you were trying to parody the Fallout 2 intro, but I thought that the text REALLY took away from the mood (especially the one where you listed the programs you used to edit the video).
Overall, 3/5, but it could have impacted me so much more.
