AMV Heaven

With the end of the AMV Hell series ending this year, I have decided to start my own series which i want to continue for 5 years, doing one each summer unless i say otherwise. This contest has been inspired by Zarxzax and the other guy i can't remember the name of.


RULES:

1. Each submission must be within 5 seconds and 2 mins long. NOTE: for submissions over 10mb, you must send in sections.

2. You may send in as many entries as you want but they must all be your own work.

3. You must include with your entry:
a. the name of the Anime of which you are using.
b. The title of the song being used
c. the source of where you got the song i.e iTunes

4. Send ALL entries to alexwoodard@comcast.net

5. There can be NO NUDITY WHATSOEVER! The contests i will have later may not have this rule, however i want to make this one rated PG13. And no logos on thi one.

6. No demanding that your submission be placed in the movie if you do this, then you will be disqualified from submitting any further entries. No second chances.

7. No subtitles in your entries. However, if you are unsure if your subtitles would be ok, just ask me in the email containing your entry.

8. All songs must be in English. Unless your Anime is cultured and the song is in the native language of that Anime's contry. i.e
Anime from: India
Song in: Hindi
Like that.

9. This is the FINAL na dmost IMPORTANT rule: Read the rules above.

To me it sounds like you just want people to throw a bunch of stuff together and make an MEP for you, where you're only left to approve it at your leisure and shamelessly copy it into a format that already exists and for which there are far better-organized and credible efforts (AMV Hell 4? Eh? Eh?). At the very least, running an AMV requires some sort of credibility; at most, a lot of organizational effort.

You're trying too hard here. Start small but well-organized and move up. I don't think you really have any idea what it means to run an MEP. Better yet, start by participating in some MEPs for a change. Maybe that'll give you a clue as to what's involved.
