I really don't want the title to give any feeling of Women's rights. Since thats not what the project isn't about. I got one idea for the title.

Cliché XX? Nope not here!

Not women's "rights" per se, but a great deal of the feminist movement these days is focused on getting people to see women in more diversified roles, which is very much what this project is about.

I've been putting a LOT of thought into the title (I tried to just wait until the end, but my mind doesn't like to wait. It likes to mull things over, particularly when I'm trying to sleep) and I really think that XX: Unconventional works best overall.
If we come up with something better in the future, I'll change it, but for now I'm changing the title to that.
(Plus, I want a banner.) :D

Just curious but does the "XX" mean something? People are going to look at that and think porn or something even without the last X... That's what i'd think when looking at the title from first glance. I musta been left out of the loop :P
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

You're the second person to ask that, and it really makes me wonder wtf they're teaching in biology these days.
XX is the chromosomal make-up of "female."
XY is male.

Ok, here is a very very very rought beta, it's just to see if the concept and the music fits well with the main idea of the project. Any suggestions or comments will be accepted ^_^.

Looking good so far. Criticism: some of the scenes go on for too long.

I really want in on this, too bad I missed it when it got started, Picking a girl is very hard. I could always do one of the Sakura Taisen girls... as they're all pretty strong and while they fall into cliche's it's more the cultural cliche's then the women anime character cliche. But there's a few others I could do.

What I'd be thinking of here

-Deedlit (Lodoss War)
-Kanna (Sakura Taisen)
-Urd (Ah My Goddess)
-Itchan (Battle Athletes Victory)

There's a lot of others I can think of that I'd like to to do character studies of. But right now those 4 are the ones that are talking to me. Itchan or Deedlit would be preferable if I can dig up/buy sources in time... I don't own either of those anime and don't know if any of the rental places have them on DVD. If I couldn't I'd probably fall back to Kanna or Urd.

Still don't know what song I'd use, but I am interested.
