Naruto

I noticed there is an overload of Naruto AMVs on the org. (Just about every other video is Naruto). I've never really watched it. I've checked a part of it out, but I never cared enough to finish the episode.

So I'm just wondering, what is the big appeal with Naruto that so many people here seem to like it?

Well, it's been going for over 5 years and was one of the big things in the proliferation of the digisub movement. Also, we have a lot of 13 year olds here.

I don't really like it,though I have few favs vids,like "Toushi",or "Whisper Of The Beast"..

I whatch it on cartoon network. I somehow caught it on the first episode and I imediately loved the series.

I happen to not like the story line as it seems to be focusing on power as the only solution. While it is cool, it essentially is quite similar to DBZ so I don't necessarily see anything great about being similar. DBZ's story line is awesome but things just went downhill with DBGT in regards to focusing too much on power. I am afraid that Naruto series is under the same threat.

The show is funny and the characters are good but then there are the annoying ones. Personally, I prefer mature shows such as Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop with a more complicated story plot. Focus is drawn more onto the character than on power although it still is nevertheless part of the show. Hard to explain but I don't like Naruto that much....

Besides, what's going on with all the delays lately?

Naruto appeals to kids in the same way DBZ used to: big, flashy, and every move gets its own name so they can go run around the backyard making hand motions and screaming the words at the top of their lungs. What more could be needed?

As for me, I like seeing the Adults, mainly the Jounins+ go at it since they act more serious about it, along the ones you dont see fight alot.
