What is the most beautiful anime music?
Question: What do you think is the most beautiful anime music.
For me the answer's easy. Just about anything by Kanno Yoko is the most wonderful music ever. I was just listening to her stuff and it always brings a tear to mine eye. *sniff* Starting with my favorite
Kiseki no Umi (Sea of Miracles) - Record of Lodoss War TV
Sora - Escaflowne Movie
Hemisphere - RahXephon
Inner Universe - GitS: SAC
yakusoku wa Inari - Escaflowne TV
Yubiwa - Escaflowne Movie
Hikari no Suashi - Record of Lodoss War TV
Stray! - Wolf's Rain
I also think the .hack//sign soundtrack is pretty beautiful as well, especially Key of the Twilight and Yashashii Yoake (ending).
There's also the intro to Elven Lied (Lilium) that's quite lovely, and the ending to Outlaw Star (Hiru no Tsuki) is good as well.

The .hack//roots soundtrack is really good too.
ALI Project can have weird music...but there's just something about it that makes me want to listen.
Last Exile and Gundam Seed Destiny soundtracks are good as well.
Yeah...I'm pushing it with the GSD soundtrack, but its got good stuff. It may not be the most emotional music out there, but who said that great/beautiful music had to be emotional?

My faves would be:
Haibane Renmei (Ko Otani) - ethereal
Arjuna (Yoko Kanno) - driving
Samurai X (Taku Iwasaki) - deep and powerful
Texhnolyze (Keishi Urata) - futuristic and classy
Koi Kaze (Takumi Masanori) - calming and sweet
Kamichu! (Yoshihiro Ike) - slice of life
.Hack//Sign (Yuki Kajiura) - magical
Really anything from Yoko Kanno and Joe Hisaishi
