Am I the only one who thinks their new song 'What I've done' sounds like they've just stuck together all their previous songs and tried to pass it off as something new?

x2. Their entire new album, really. All the songs either sound like all the other wannabe emo rock bands out there instead of like them. And the songs that did sound like them sounded exactly like Dime_fan3 said, like they stuck their previous songs together and tried to say it was new. (No, I didn't buy it. My bf did. But then again, he actually listens to some of the wannabe emo bands. )

And I think its like everyone said. Linikin Park has enough exposure that it gets through to the people with even the most narrow of music scopes. And of all the bands that shallow minded popularity obsessed teens consider "OMG! Like, so awesome!", Linkin Park is probably the easiest to use in an AMV. Particularly when one does not feel the need to look past what is uber popular and probably barely has the mental capacity to DL their Naruto/DBZ eps or use WMM.

No not an AMV just a question.. I’m just wondering what is the obsession with linkin park in AMVs? Practically every AMV I have seen on boochsack has been with a linkin park song. After seeing about 10 AMVs in one day I guess I get pretty sick of hearing "Numb"..

but yeah LP in an AMV almost always = instant fail.

There, as for LP songs being used. Yah, noobs like it because almost everybody has heard of them, and when they first get into amvs they see tons of "awesome" AMVs with LP songs, And yes the lyrics are easy, but It sucks that people are discouraged from making GOOD LP vids... what with all the bad hype around them

Also, Lawl. Linkin park is on the top overused artist list twice.

And those are just the three most popular ones right now.. I'm sure there are a couple i'm missing, out of the fact that I just woke up and it's 4:30 in the afternoon
