Trying to figure out what anime I saw....

About a year or two ago (I think late 2005) I saw two episodes of an anime that I thought looked really interesting, but I never actually watched the rest of it. It was very bizzare, bloody, sexual, and mature (R rating).

This anime was set in the near future, in a seedy metropolis filled with corruption, violence, decadence, sex, adultery, and an extremely rich aristrocracy and a lot of poor people (let's just call this city Hollywood for the moment XD).

In Hollyw... I mean this city, there's this tabloid photographer who's boss wants him to get a picture of Brittney Spears nude for the next sensational story. If he doesn't, he'll loose his job. So Mr. Tabloid Reporter goes out onto the city one night, and accidently stumbles into a secret Scientology get-together, where all the rich movie stars are doing whatever Scientologists do.

In this secret get-together, all the Scientologists, along with Tom Cruise, are fapping off to some teenage girl in lingerie dangling from the ceiling (it seems to be some kind of ritual to fight the minions of Xenu). The girl ends up giving the smooch to our young paparazzi, and he gets the power of being able to blow people up with his camera by taking a picture of them. He uses this power to fight off the evil Thetans.

Anyway, if anyone's seen this delightful anime about the high life in Hollywood, and thinks it's worth seeing more, let me know!

Umm.. yeah.. the end part sounds exactly like speed grapher.. a great anime

The first 2 episodes made me wonder if this wasn't Eyes Wide Shut - The Animated Series.

Wow, that sounds almost like that hentai where in order to 'power up' and transform, the heroine has to have sex almost constantly.. Weird.
