Big Problems

Okay, lets start and say I'm a noob.

I have a computer Windows 98SE.
I have Nero 6 with the Nerovision Express.
I tried the AMVAPP, but wasn't sure if the two mixed at all.

But, I already made a video in Nerovision Express.
The finished video is 195MB and the audio track plays real low.
I also burned it to a dvd, still the same problem.

I just want that specific video to work correctly and be about 100MB less in size. Can someone give me a suggestion(s) or help on this?

Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a>, it has a section near the end about compressing your video (don't forget to compress your audio if you were using a wav file or some other uncompressed format)

audio isn't my thing, so I can't help you there

try a program that does wav editing like sony sounforge or nero wave editor and raise the volume to 200% or like 1000%

. but just don't break yer sound board.

Actually it would be better initially to highlight the whole thing and select Normalize. Then volume adjustments aren't so bad.

Normalizing an mp3, which already is at -20 % of its original volume won't have any results. This is the reason why I suggested him to boost the volume.

Where did they say anything about MP3? You normalize hideously quiet audio before compressing it for distro (or should, anyway). It works very well when dealing with the audio from Quicktime site trailers, for example - many of those barely register a waveform when viewed. Normalizing it fixes that without having overflow static. If it's still too quiet for one's tastes then raising the volume can be done, but with lower number values, like 4 dB. None of that gets reversed when compressing to MP3, AC3, or in the case of the QT trailers, back into AAC.
