Seattle's Sakura-Con! How many here have gone/plan to go?

Post by Iced Earth Fan » Thu Jul 26, 2007 10:54 pm

Hey, I've got to Sakura-Con for the past three years, and I've loved each year I've been there. Its a great Con, and each year it keeps on getting better and better. Tomorrow I'm going to pre-register for next year's convention via the Con's website. I've just been curious to see who else has gone or is planning to go here at a-m-v.org.

Long Live Sakura-Con!

Cool, hey at least someone from here might go. By the way, I read that you're connected to the AMV contest there. Where do I need to send my AMV for submission? I don't have a fast internet connection, so snail mail is my only other option:(

I went this year, had a great time. It's in a great area, too. Only my fourth time up in the Seattle area. I'd like to go next year but would need to save up big time. :?

"Dunno, I was probably asleep when you said it."

The AMV room will be back, and this time a much bigger room and more real cool AMV related programming

Yeah, Hotels aren't exactly cheap...But like you, I'm saving money from my job like crazy right now, to make sure I have enough to cover all the expenses come March. I'm just waiting for the Hotel information to be put up, so I can roughly estimate how much I'll need. I hate math:( About the AMV's, I'll be sure to check the site in September, for next years AMV info. I didn't get my video completed in time and missed the submission deadline for this years con:(

I've been going since '05, in Sea-Tac. Love the con, love the staff, love the people. It's a great place.

P.S. WA stole Oregon's con (Kumori Con) It was in Vancouver this year :P

That makes me glad, Vlad! ^_^

The AMV aspect to Sakura-Con is one of my favorite aspects, and you guys do a good job of running it well! Ahhh...can't wait for the con to start...
