Neon Genesis Transformer

This is an AMV I had been planning to do for a bit and finally got around to it in June. This video is not for any one who is prone to seizures. It took some time and hard work to try to get the video to match up with the music. I used Gnarles Barkley for this video for it's beat. If you actually listen to the lyrics, it has nothing to do with "Transformers" as in the cartoon. It actually has a good meaning to it. It's something fun and different then the typical metal used. To achieve maximum enjoyment, ensure that you have a 2.1 stereo sound set up (Subwoofers are a must!).

Thank you for your time. Comments are appreciated!

Title: Neon Genesis Transformer
Song: Gnarls Barkley / Transformer

Comments: This is an AMV of EPIC proportions. Combining the fast paced beats of Gnarls Barkley's Transformer with Neon Genesis Evangelion. This is not for the epileptic. You have been warned. =)

When viewing, ensure that you are using a 2.1 stereo set up or higher loudly to achieve the best experience with this video.

just too much flashing in the amv, half the amv is black screen (flash) whyle the other half is actually the anime. and video quality is bad.

Was this the one at AFO? The one at AFO using this song was... as you said... fucking "epic".
I suppose it helps to be a fan of the song beforehand though. =D

...yup. One and the same. How this didn't win anything I'll never know. I absolutely loved it. 5/5

I remember this one. One of the few videos in the exposition at AFO that stood out to me. Pretty good stuff. 3/5

Not quite sure about the Interlacing. I haven't run into that issue. I have run into some timing issues with the video and music playing at the same time depending on the player you are using. I've seen VLC play the video faster then the audio versus Windows Media player is able to sync it up just fine. It could also be due to any system resource issues, video card issues and such.

Yes, this one was at AFO. I think your right about that. Gnarls Barkley isn't really known for their other songs beyond released singles (IE: Crazy). It also doesn't seem like many editors here are into this type of music. So it does help being a fan before hand. I'm glad you liked the vid!

Not quite sure about what you mean by bad video quality. I've checked this video and it's rendered to work as a mpeg. However, I will recheck it as soon as I can to find any flaws in quality.

quite the contrary, that quality is pretty much how the death and rebirth DVD is anyways, iirc.

with the exception of the remastered version of eva, that quality did seem as good as it gets, it may have not been perfect dvd quality of death and rebirth but it was good enough so that it should not have been a viewing issue

but yeah... i saw the timing for the song to be slightly different than what was used for the video so i guess i was blown because even though it shows you put a lot of work into this, i pictured the video differently in my head

not epileptic, mildly enjoyable, appreciated song choice from the everyday
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D
