Question on something...
The aspect ratio is 4:3;
However, Death Note episodes (at least the raws I have) are 640 x 360, and i downsized them to 640 x 352.
So thus, would I need to blow up the video to x 480 and then just crop off some of the horizontal pixels or...?
Being the intro track, i'd suggest that you COULD get away with the black bars on the top and bottom, and then as it transitions into the next track, put black bars on the beginning frames of the next track when you're putting it all together, and extremely quickly, raise the black bars off the screen, if you get what I mean.

There is no way to make 4:3 and 16:9 look the same unless you expand or shrink one or the other. Since I doubt people want me to do that I was gonna take 4:3 segments as 640x480 and widescreen as 640x360. All the widescreen segments will have blackbars on top and bottom but the AR will be maintained. The video will be smaller but thats the only downside. Most mep's prefer that option over shrinking/expanding from what I've seen.otbwavelength wrote:Question on something...

Just make sure to letterbox your widescreen vids before you get them to me (Crop off the black).
