need help

im not really sure if this is the right place to put this but anyway i have been trying to find a way to start making amvs but all i have is windows movie maker and all my videos are formated for realplayer so i was wondering if anyone knew of a program i could download that would allow me to use the episodes i already have or if there is any way i can get them to be usable on windows movie maker. plz help

.. well there are a few problems that your just now discovering:
file types are not always editable in their Final Formats .. like .viv .mwv .rm .avi .fl* .mp3

.. yah see, these are highly compressed and multi-layered Video Formats for sharing completed
projects and were never intended to be used as Source Material. What you need are some
loss-less Videos.

.. Loss-Less Videos are, currently, only possible in 15 formats .. of which DVD's are the least expensive to obtain. You can borrow them from Libraries and purchase them from Used DVD Stores.

might there be a way for me to obtain episodes that arnt in america yet?

Buy them from japan. Though I hardly doubt it worht it. Shipping costs from japan would be VERY expensive. Plus the actual anime cost.

The cheapest way is obviously downloading, but that's wrong. Besides, downloaded footage looks like it came from the less flattering end of a menstruated elephant, so you don't really want to use it.

i have been able to procure the 95 episodes of rurouni kenshin on 12 dvds so how exactly do i do with them
