I need assistance..........

Well how should i put this...........

My comp has been down since april
and the host i used has been shutdown(filelodge)
so i was wondering if anyone had DLed my amv's that i made,
could someone help get me a copy of those vids.....like sending them to me or such

No, we haven't.
You do know you can upload these onto the local server and download them as many times as you like without fear of shutdown, right?

are you serious?
I thought you had to upload it from a host
atleast that's what i thought
it does ask for my vid in the form of an http address

You can upload it with an fftp program like FileZilla. To avoid problems you should read some help threads if something isn´t clear for you. There are nearly for every problem a thread here.

yeah that's in case you want another link to your vid. You can usually skip that section, and right after you finish entering your vid, you go to Upload video and get your login info to upload it.

theres no rules saying you HAVE to use local hosting :/

but its a nice perk that this site offers... i know several people who dont want to use local hosting for varying reasons...

either way good luck at finding your vids?

keep this as a lesson for next time: ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR FILES! back them up to an external hd, DVDR, CDR or whatever you have, back up your files!
