Well,I'm also a die-hard fan of FMP series and I can't wait for Shouji Gatou to complete his new FMP novel so that it could be adapted into a 4th anime series.FMP rules!!

Yeah, the opening seems a bit irrelevant with the rest of the amv but is used as an intro to the FMP world. But the real reason behind it is that these fighting scenes are too cool to not use them!!

Holy crap, that was AWESOME. I love alternate storyline videos, and this was just executed wonderfully. Totally believed it, and the mood sync was right on. I also kind of found the whole concept rather humorous, despite it not really having any particularly funny parts.
My only complaint is I wish you hadn't made it seem like Souske and Chidori get back together at the end (at least that's what it seemed like to me)...kinda didn't make sense with the story you had going throughout the rest of the video.
Still, solid editing, good quality, excellent concept...this gets 4/5 from me (that darn ending), but this definitely exceeded my expectations

I guess he wanted them back together, even though the song is totally against that. But the part where she beats him up, he told me is when she "straightens him out"CrackTheSky wrote:

Care about the video itself, not what format it's in.

Thanx for your kind words man and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much.I realize your point about what was the meaning of the whole amv since in the end Sousuke and Chidori get back together. However, the meaning of this amv was exactly this:CrackTheSky wrote:Holy crap, that was AWESOME. Sousuke begins as a playboy who never had problems with the opposite sex but never took a relationship seriously. His current girlfriend is Chidori but during a fight,he left her and went to China where he found achinese chick who looks the same as Chidori. At her sight,he becomes aware of his behaviour and how he badly he has treated Chidori so far. Then he begins to feel regrets for abandoning her...
At the same time Chidori faces a lethal danger but manages to survive and find Sousuke. And based on her explosive character, beating him was the most appropriate way for "repaying" his abandoning her.But she loves him at the same time and decides to give him a second chance. So she obliges him to come back to school where she shows her feminine side once again. He also remembers the good times they had together and the finale is a reunion.
Of course,it would be funnier to give a different ending to this amv. However, the lack of footage made me use the anime ending. If I had to use another ending,I'd have to show Chidori either kissing Leonard willingly(and how was I supposed to show this since he only gets 5 minutes screen time in total) or just leave her alone after defeating her hunter. In the meanwhile,Sousuke would have stayed with the chinese chick and all would be well?????
Personally I find this ending

If you lol'd by watching this amv once or twice then what must I do who watched it countless times??
Edit 3/9/2007:The xvid version of the amv is now up as a direct link.Lots of thanks to Niwa-kun for the uploading and rokujinshou productions for hosting!!

I'm an ass for not commenting sooner. Because you rock hard for making this! I love the attitude this vid has going for it. The finale is one of the most entertaining I've seen this year, and you fixed so many of the editing flaws the beta had. Some stuff is still iffy, but I was so surprised by how much had become spiffy.
(Pause, because that was an awesome line)
So yeah, the beginning of this video rocks hard, it kinda loses steam in the middle, and the ending kicks ass. And really, pulling off a story like this with Fumoffu is not something many could do. One thing I will say based on what you told me and your comments here though : Anything is possible. Don't blame the anime for not giving the right material for an ending, or Sousuke being a jackass. It's all there, if you look closely enough.
Keep it up
