Doesn't this all just depend on your own views of Anime and Cartoon? A lot of people agree that they are different but no one really agrees why. Some say its the way they are drawn, where they are drawn, what they are about. About the only people who actually agree are those who are saying yes, Anime and Cartoon are the same and thats because they are both forms of animation. But even that isn't convincing many (or any) people and there are quite a few others with different views as to why Anime and Cartoons are the same.

So can't everyone (and I know this has been said before) agree to disagree? Its not like your achieving anything through all the arguing.

I'm just demonstrating absurdity by being absurd. Anyway yes animes are Cartoons(I know it cheapens them alot to say that) but oh well. If you look In the guiness book of world records it says the longest running cartoon is some wierd show that had like 320 something episodes Im quite sure the simpsons and Dragonball are past this.
