Good deal.

Not really necessary for full link capable places, but for forums and sites that only accept and show URLs without titles (I guess IMDb and the shack comes to mind) this is a great addition.

How linking to numbered member-IDs too, for those members with crazy-ass names?

Much better than Haruhi, I'd say.

Vacation and girlfriend are good things, and when stuff like this happens while you're away, then being away isn't so bad. Would be worse if it was something that you could only benefit from by being online right then, or something bad that you could have prevented by being online.
