Usually, it looks something like this:
Garbage, beautifulgarbage
The Offspring, Americana
Orgy, Vapor Transmission
Goo Goo Dolls, Gutterflower
[5th spot open - Peter Murphy's album Love Hysteria, The Sisters of Mercy's Vision Thing, Collective Soul's Blender, Stabbing Westward's Darkest Days, The Awakening's Razor Burn, Klank's albums Still Suffering and Numb, VAST's Music For People, Autumn's Descent's Deadletters album and Primer EP, etc.; I also have a strong suspicion The Last Dance's last couple albums and The Birthday Massacre would rate on there too whenever I get around to listening to more of those CDs rather than the select tracks I've picked up thus far]
Genre-wise:
Goth Rock, Industrial Rock, Industrial Metal, Goth-Industrial/Darkwave/Elektrogoth, EBM, Post-Punk, Post-Grunge (1st and 2nd Waves), Grunge, Alternative Dance, British Punk, early 80s Hardcore, Post-Hardcore (from the 80s, i.o.w. the real stuff), Third Wave Ska, NWOBHM, Power Metal, Progressive Metal, Goth Metal, Arena Rock, 70s 80s and 90s Pop/Rock, 80s and 90s Hip-hop/rap, New Wave, 80s Alternative Pop/Rock, and others I can't be bothered to name right now.
